Download the required files including your \u201cLeaf Certificate\u201d (the primary certificate issued to your domain) and the Intermediate Certificates..<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step Two<\/strong>: Copy the Leaf(Primary) and Intermediate Certificate files to your Apache Server. You should also have your key file on the server, which was created along with the generation of the Certificate Signing Request(CSR).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step Three<\/strong>: You need to find your httpd.conf or ssl.conf file, whichever is present in your Apache configuration. This file controls the configuration of your SSL.<\/p>\n<p>You will want to use the \u201ccp\u201d and \u201cnano\u201d commands to edit these files.<\/p>\n<pre><strong># cp \/etc\/httpd\/conf.d\/ssl.conf \/etc\/httpd\/conf.d\/ssl.conf.BAK <\/strong>\n<strong># nano \/etc\/httpd\/conf.d\/ssl.conf<\/strong>\n<\/pre>\n<p>(if your files are in a different location, please adjust the file path).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step Four<\/strong>: Now that you are editing the httpd.conf\/ssl.conf file, look for the following directives. If they are commented out, indicated by a \u201c#\u201d starting the line, please remove the \u201c#\u201d.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>For Apache Version &lt;2.4.8<\/td>\n<td>For Apache Version 2.4.8 or higher<\/td>\n<td><strong>Enter the following path<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>SSLCertificateFile<br \/>\nSSLCertificateKeyFile<br \/>\nSSLCertificateChainFile<\/td>\n<td>SSLCertificateFile<br \/>\nSSLCertificateKeyFile<br \/>\nSSLCACertificatePath<\/td>\n<td>Certificate File Path<br \/>\nCertificate Private Key File Path<br \/>\nIntermediate Bundle Path<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>After each of these lines, you should add the absolute file path of your certificates.
