How to Get Symantec, GeoTrust, RapidSSL, Comodo CA and Thawte CA Bundles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Go to this CA\nbundle resource<\/a> page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Choose the SSL certificate you have purchased\n(or its closest match) from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3:<\/strong> To start the CA bundle CRT download process, simply press the download icon under the SHA-2 CA Download column. Ignore the SHA-1 CA Download column.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4<\/strong>: Now, locate the CA bundle on your PC. It\nwould automatically save to your Downloads folder unless you\u2019ve specified a\ndifferent location. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Create a CA Bundle CRT For Other SSL Certificate Brands <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you have an SSL certificate from brands other than the ones specified in the above section, you have to create your own CA bundle manually. What it means is that you must combine all the codes of the root certificate and intermediate certificates to make a master file. This master file will serve as your CA bundle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create your own CA bundle CRT file, please follow the\ninstructions below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1<\/strong>: Once you finish the validation process, the\nCA will issue an SSL certificate for your website. You\u2019ll receive a bunch of\nfiles with .crt extensions via email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The email will contain a root certificate, some intermediate\ncertificates, and an SSL certificate.. (The SSL certificate would be named as yourdomain.crt.\nRight now, you don\u2019t need this file.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some CAs (like Symantec) provide only one intermediate\ncertificate, whereas some CAs (Like Comodo) usually have two intermediate\ncertificates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Download all the .crt files. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
